Medscribbler Administration Configuration

An example of a typical form almost completed.
When you have completed the form set-up save it to the Medscribbler database. The project can also be saved to a file (for possible export to another Medscribbler system)
You will be asked to give the form a name. This will build a list of forms that are available from the patient chart. Some thought should go into how the forms are named. If there are 100 forms in the system and the one used constantly starts with the letter W it will be a nuisance to scroll down to it each time. Use a preceeding number to put a form at the top of the list and easy access. ie 1Blood work requistion.
There will be times when management of the forms is required.
Forms can be renamed, left in the system but set as inactive or changed to a Handout. Forms that have been used for a patient can not be deleted but only set as inactive. Handouts are listed separately for access and are not stored in the patient chart like a filled out form. Changes do not affect previous chart entries.
Log on as the doctor, using the Medscribbler medical client and usually on a Tablet PC, to check the form for display and printing.
Blank forms can be printed.
The example form is displaying correctly. Adjustments may need to be made to font sizes to allow all the database information to be put into the space a form has. Many scanners scan unevenly so some box repositioning may have to take place. Remember once a form is saved for a patient it can not be deleted from the system.
