This is a warning that by creating the Medscribbler database a second time creating the new database will erace any information from a previous database. To install again, if there are patient records in the system, use the Medscribbler Backup tool first then restore the backup to the new database creation. |
This is a second chance, if there are patient records in Medscribbler only proceed understanding they will be overwritten leaving a blank database. |
If this error screen appears the Server is not connecting to the database. On some Microsoft Windows 2000 computers ( and maybe other versions as well) a reboot is required to start the Server correctly. (See the next help) |
If the Server is started correctly there will be an icon on the task tray with a green arrow. Rebooting will correct its absence. After rebooting click on the Create Medscribbler database to continue the installation and correctly create the database. |
After the Medscribbler Database is created, single click on Management Tools. |

The Customer Information is the information entered when Windows is installed, for Medscribbler changing this information has no effect. The radio buttons allow everyone who is a Windows user of the computer to use Medscribbler (they need a Medscribbler password) or just the Windows Logged on user. Other variations of users can be achieved with folder permissions, contact a Microsoft Certified Professional computer specialis to understand how to set folder permissions. |
