The "Set the Configuration" is checked by default. If this is unchecked the Medscribbler administrator can connect to the database locally (contact an IT specialist for more help.) It is better to leave this checked. The configuration can be done later from the Windows Start menu. |

As this is the Server installation click the radio button "Server or Server/Client Computer. |

The Medscribbler server installation is now finished. This screen provides the server IP address and server name. Writing these down can save considerable time in the Client installations by avoiding a laborious Medscribbler automatic database location search. Computers or Tablet PCs (Clients) that will connect to the Server must have Medscribbler Client software installed on them individually. |

The Customer Information is the information entered when Windows is installed, for Medscribbler changing this information has no effect. The radio buttons allow everyone who is a Windows user of the computer to use Medscribbler (they need a Medscribbler password) or just the Windows Logged on user. Other variations of users can be achieved with folder permissions, contact a Microsoft Certified Professional computer specialis to understand how to set folder permissions. |
